JLL Atlanta’s philanthropic committee, JLL Community Connection, hosted an internal happy hour event for employees on Thursday, April 13th to network while volunteering for Project Live Love and Lost-n-Found Youth.
JLL Community Connection aims to identify charitable organizations that will benefit from involvement while also providing activities that enrich the lives of JLL professionals on a personal level. The committee seeks to better the community by leveraging the collective resources and power of the JLL Atlanta network.
Project Live Love is a nonprofit organization designed to influence culture through love in action. They partner with individuals, corporations, social organizations, churches, and schools to create programs and projects based on local community needs as well as collect projects from various organizations that work on today’s social issues.
Lost-n-Found Youth is an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization designed to take homeless lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youths up to age 25 off the street and transition them into more permanent housing.
JLL employees worked in shifts to prepare 450 toiletry & food kits for homeless individuals in Atlanta for the organizations to distribute during their outreach efforts. Attendees shared their experience using #JLLATLServes.
