The JLL Atlanta team of David Demarest, Josh Hirsh, and Brannan Moss have won the prestigious Alvin B. Cates award from the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors for their involvement in The Battery Atlanta, the Braves development at SunTrust Park.
The project included numerous moving parts that required extremely skilled coordination by the JLL team to implement two new office buildings, a new concert venue, residential units, large-scale convention space, a hotel, and a year-round retail destination.
The award is presented annually for a transaction that is considered
outstanding and noteworthy based on creativity, ingenuity, and skill rather than shear volume. The complexity and state-wide impact of The Battery Atlanta development made it a stand out candidate for recognition.
“This team of professionals brought together all the commercial real estate experience, deal-making skills and, maybe most of all, the creativity of each of its members to successfully execute the series of transactions that have resulted in a development that will have a huge economic impact on the Cumberland-Galleria area, Cobb County, Atlanta, and the state of Georgia” says ACBR Awards Committee chair John Heagy.
Congratulations, David, Josh, and Brannan! This honor speaks to your hard work and dedication, and we are proud to call you members of the JLL team.
